course summary

By reading the skatesperian novel hamlet in a graphic novel rather then the play helped me visualize better. So because of what it helped me understand the play way better then when i read the play in the past. this part of the class really helped me alot from talking about it with my group members to looking at the pictures in the book to understand everything that was hard to understand when reading it in the skaespearing lauguage.

However i would change a few things about this section on the class. I would make every person in the class read the same book together and be in the same group. i think this owuld help everyone because there would be many different points of veiw so everyone would understand what was goiong on in the novel, and i do know for a fact the there was many people who didn't fully understand what was happening in there book. I also would have made us do less blogs, they were very time consuming.

So all in all I belive that this section in our class was very fun and a good learning expriance. There could have been a few minnor changes to make this better and more helpful and less confussing. But it was still a lot easyer and funner todo the reading the original play in his old hard writing style and no pictures. So I belive that this should be done in future classes but with a few minor changes.

This picture reminds me of hamlet in 2 ways. 1 it makes me think of him when his father dies and he is wondering how he is going to prove that his uncle was the one who killed him. 2 when he found his friends skull and he feel really sorry for him becuase he was once a very good looking person but he had turned into something soo grose.

Hamlet and the Queen

This is a picture of Hamlet and the Queen when he first found ou that she was going to be marrying his ucle. He past husbands brother. Hamlet is shocked and he doesn't know what to think. He wants his mother to be happy but he doesn't approve of it at all. Especially so soon after the death of his father. This bothered Hamlet throughout the whole play.

Hamlet and Ophelia met and Hamlet acted very strange around her. Some people belive that is it because Ophelia had regected him, but his mother said that the other thing that has been bother Hamlet is his fathers dead and her sudden marriage to his ucle. The most realistic cause for Hamlets strange behaviour is becuase he has fallin for Ophelia.

summarizer

Hamlet starts off the act by adding lines to the play that the King an Queen are about to watch. Hamlet is hopeing for a reaction out of the king to prove to him that he indded killed his brother like hamlets fathers gost told him he did. It did not work in the first play with not a blinnk of an eye from the king. but when the second play started and they said the plays name Hamlet knew right away that he did kills his father and he won't get away with it. Later on in the act the king notices that he will not get away with what he had done and his wife leaves him to seek out her revenge.

I know something noone else knows.
But how do i show everyone what i know.
But most of all how do i prove it?
My father came to me lastnight and told me that his own brother was the one who killed him.
It was hard for me to belive.
So how am i going to be able to make others?
I don't know how i am going to go about this but,
I know i won't let my father down.
I will prove that he is the one who murdered my father.
If it is the last thing i do.

This picture reminds me of Hamlet because it is like this ghost is looking over him like Hamlet's father does to him. Hamlet's fathers ghost is not really his father, he just has the same look and thoughts as he does. This ghost helps Hamlet in this play so he does not do things he will regret.

Today we found out that depending on the novel the comics are very different. In one of the novels the comics are very boring and there is three times more writing in it. This helps you get better information in the story but it decrease the amount of visual. In other novels thier is a greater amount of pictures which is alot easyer to follow. The best novel to read is the one that has lots of pictures and it is writin in modern day english so you don't have to guess about what they are trying to say in some spots. If i had to read the boko again that is the novel i would have picked.
